The Victims of Racial Violence
Each individual profiled on this site was a target of racial violence, but also a human being, a member of a family, and a part of a community. We have attempted to return dignity and humanity to these people by recovering as much as possible about their lives beyond the one moment of violence. While these individuals are much more than one violent incident, every episode of violence carried far reaching implications for their families and communities even up to the present day.
